Personal Training Approach
Personal Training Pact
Training will consist of using several models, that includes type of equipment, type of exercise, and type of interval. The first three weeks of training together will each use a different model, so that we can figure out together, what will work best for you. Now, what works best for you will be a combination of things you like to do, and also things that you need to do to achieve your goal. I am up front with what will make your goals achievable. It’s important that we communicate with one another throughout the sessions, so that we are on the same page about why we are doing what we are doing and how you feel as the person performing the work. Additionally, training includes more than just the session we have together, as it will include a focus on your nutrition and other things that you can do outside of our time together to achieve your goal. By the fourth training, we will have things pretty dialed in and have a long term plan laid out together.
If SunshineKelly Cancels:
1. No charge to you
Training wonderful people like yourself is how I make my living. You can be that I will have a VERY good reason if I have to cancel. Ya know, like my dog died and I am still at the vet's office and I don't have a car and it's the second Tuesday of the week. (p.s. My husband and I only have a cat named, Murphy Squeaker Ewok Jones).
If You Cancel:
1. More than 24 hour in advance, no charge.
2. Less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged.
***If you cancel a session, you MUST receive confirmation from SunshineKelly that your notice was received for it to be a confirmed cancellation. Confirmation from SunshineKelly can take up to 24 hours, so please do not expect an immediate response. Sunday's in particular are difficult days to reach SunshineKelly, as that is designated family time. Keep in mind that whatever form of communication you used to leave notice of your cancellation, it will have a time stamp of when you called, texted, or emailed. ***
Break Up Terms
At any point that one of us wants out of our pact, we agree to tell the other person. A text message or email does not qualify, only verbal communication. If you are breaking up with me as your trainer, all you need to say, is "I'm breaking up with you." You are not required to give a reason, so you do not need to have a snowball of anxiety over having that conversation.
If I am breaking up with you, I will tell you, "I'm breaking up with you and here is why: Example: You aren't adhering to the terms of our pact. This includes completing the at home workout designed specifically for you to do during the times that we are not training together. 2nd Example: I have taken you as far I can as a trainer and you have made it to maintenance phase. You have the skillset to be successful on your own now, and the awareness about why you want to continue your health and wellness journey (fyi - the journey never ends :-) ).
